Wins Jackpot After Self-Ban From Casino
A man won a jackpot, but because he banned himself won’t be able to collect.
Now this kind of sucks. A man who banned himself from a Pennsylvania casino won $2,001, unfortunately he won’t be able to keep a penny of it.
The Pennsylvania State Police gaming enforcement office said the 55-year-old man had banned himself from the state’s casinos under a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board program, and because of that he is not eligible to grab any of his winnings.
Police said the man, whose name was not released, forfeited his Friday winnings from the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie and will now face a summary criminal trespass charge. They said he signed up for the self-exclusion program in April 2009.
