Americas Cardroom Surprises Online Poker Players With Dramatic Rake Drop on All Limit Tables
San Jose, Costa Rica – November 27, 2012 – Just in time for the Holidays, US-friendly online poker site Americas Cardroom is giving players something new to be thankful for. The online poker site has announced that, effective immediately, the rake structure for all Limit games is changing. The most dramatic drop will be seen at the high stakes tables, where the rake fee drops from 5% all the way down to 1%. The new structure will go into effect on all Limit Hold’em, 7 Stud and Omaha tables.
“Our goal isn’t to just be competitive, it’s to be the top destination in the US for online poker players,” stated Americas Cardroom spokesman Michael Harris. “The realignment of our rake structure coupled with the fact that we’re the #1 site for reliable payment processing now makes us a clear favorite.”
The rake structure is now aligned with what US online poker players enjoyed at Poker Stars, which no longer serves the US market. In addition to high stakes players seeing rake drop down to 1%, low stakes players will also benefit significantly, too. The cap at $0.02/$0.04 table is now just one cent.
San Francisco 49ers Vs New Orleans Saints Odds To Win
Why San Francisco Will Win
College football betting gurus are certainly aware of how Colin Kaepernick transformed the Nevada Wolf Pack program. Kaepernick’s assortment of skills was so impressive that Nevada was able to become a balanced team on offense. The Wolf Pack could run and pass in equal measure. They could attack opposing defenses from so many formations and with so many personnel groupings. Yet, many online sports book expert probably thought that Kaepernick, the product of a quirky college offense (the pistol), would not be able to hold up physically in the pro game. The power and speed of the NFL were supposed to overwhelm the still-thin and lanky quarterback who began this season as a backup to opening-day starter Alex Smith.
However, this past Monday night, Kaepernick – thrust into action because of concussions suffered by Smith – did not look like a quarterback who was out of his league. The Nevada star presided over a very efficient offensive outing for the Niners, who crushed the Chicago Bears by a 32-7 score, moving up the ladder in the NFC’s playoff pecking order.
The 49ers, to a man, believe in and trust Kaepernick. With Smith out, this team is in very capable hands and shows no profound signs that it will suffer or experience a drop-off in quality.
Why New Orleans Will Win
When you go over your next play at any of the best online betting sites in the country, you have to admit that the Saints are one of the hottest teams in professional football at the moment. The Saints, who were immersed in controversies and distractions at the beginning of the season due to the BountyGate scandal and its aftereffects, started the season 0-4 and looked to be done as a playoff contender. However, New Orleans has won five of its last six games to climb back to the .500 mark and re-enter the playoff picture.
The simple reason for the Saints’ improvement is that their offense has settled down. Drew Brees has found enough of a groove to get the Saints to score more than 30 points on most Sundays during their recent surge. The defense is making a few more stands in the red zone, and that small difference between field goals and touchdowns has been enough to propel the Saints to a string of victories. In this contest, a loud Superdome crowd will make it tough for San Francisco rookie quarterback Colin Kaepernick to respond well to pressure. Unless New Orleans shoots itself in the foot on offense, the Saints should be able to score big and win in a shootout… or something close to a shootout.
Who Will Win?
Do you really trust Colin Kaepnernick to win on the road in a domed stadium? This situation is something you can’t fully prepare for; you have to endure it and rise above it. Will Kaepernick be able to pull off this feat? It’s doubtful – take the Saints here.

NFL Betting Pick: New Orleans
Super Bowl Winners Clash when Giants Host Packers
A pair of Super Bowl contenders will meet in New York this Sunday as the NFC East-leading Giants try to fend off Aaron Rodgers and the visiting Green Bay Packers. With their divisions on the line and NFL odds worthy of football’s finest, the primetime Week 12 clash is shaping up to be a must watch event.
Although they’ve stumbled of late, dropping each of their past two, the Giants hold the early three-point edge on the individual game line. As the hometown club and reigning champion at that, it’s not an unreasonable angle to take.
The Packers, however, are no simple pushover and oddsmakers and critics alike will eventually realize it. Gathering momentum after five consecutive wins, the club has rallied up the NFL futures to where they currently sit with 7/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.
Given what’s at stake for either club – the Giants, their sole share of the NFC East lead, the Packers, their ongoing battle with the Chicago Bears for NFC North supremacy – except nothing but the best NFL betting has to offer.
Few regular season matchups, after all, shape the landscape of the league like this one.
Bovada Sportsbook invites players for a betting bonanza with the NFL for this sunday’s game.
Lions’ Future Bleak as Texans Plan Thanksgiving Visit
There will be no shortage of quality NFL games to bet on this Thanksgiving Thursday, but the opener might be what fans focus most on while prepping their holiday meals. Just past noon, the moribund Detroit Lions will get one last chance to win over fans this year as they line up against the AFC South-leading Houston Texans.
After qualifying for the playoffs last fall, the Lions faltered out of the gates in 2012. Mediocre seasons from both Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson have left the once intimidating offensive barrage relatively harmless over the course of the regular season.
According to NFL betting experts, the early struggles have resulted in the franchise sinking down the football futures. Now with just 250/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl, Lions fans are getting ready to call time of death.
On Thursday, the Lions will host a 9-1 Houston team that has league-best NFL odds of 5/1. Between Matt Schaub (who tied the record for the second-most passing yards in a single game just last week) and superstar running back Arian Foster, they’re no easy matchup.
Whether you’re optimistic that there’s light at the end of the tunnel for Detroit, or simply looking for the Texans to continue their beat down on the NFL at large, there will be plenty to be thankful for in the NFL sportsbook.

A Tale of Two Coasts
The online sports books did not give the New York Knicks much of a chance to make the playoffs this season, but the Knicks are ignoring the media. It is still very early in the season, but the Knicks remain as the league’s only undefeated team and it is not just by luck that the Knicks keep on winning. Fans should not misconstrue the Knicks’ winning streak as a sign that New York is playing like a well-oiled machine. The players still argue and there is still incidents of ball hogging that are becoming more and more evident. But the streak continues for New York as the weekend approaches.
It is in the nature of the online casino players to ask if the New York Knicks can maintain this kind of pace. Obviously, the Knicks are not going to finish the season undefeated. But it is a legitimate question to ask if the Knicks can keep this up and finish at the top of the Eastern Conference. The answer to that question is “probably not.”
For one thing, the Knicks have no depth. One injury to the starting five would be devastating for New York. Another reason that the Knicks will not keep this pace up is because of its inability to solve the internal issues with the players. Carmelo Anthony wants the ball and so does Amar’e Stoudemire. That internal conflict is what caused problems two years ago, and it will rear its ugly head at some point this season as well.
On the west coast, the future seems just as uncertain. The sports betting sites cannot help but wonder why the Los Angeles Lakers would hire Mike D’Antoni as its new head coach when legendary coach Phil Jackson obviously wanted the job. The Lakers can say what it wants, but some of this decision was money motivated. Phil Jackson wanted $10 million per year but was not going to coach all of the team’s road games. Mike D’Antoni was happy with $4 million per year and he would coach the All-Star Game if the Lakers asked him to.
Phil Jackson wanted partial ownership of the team and he also wanted to have a significant say in personnel decisions. The online betting experts are sure that Mike D’Antoni will have some kind of input into player moves, but the Buss family will get to keep control of its team with D’Antoni in charge.
From a basketball standpoint, the Lakers claimed that Jackson’s triangle offense would be too complicated to implement at this point in the season. When you consider the fact that at least two of the Lakers’ starters already knew the triangle, that logic is faulty. Mike D’Antoni knows offense, but his system is weak on defense.
Mike D’Antoni is a good coach, but saying that he was a better fit for the Lakers than Phil Jackson is just incorrect. The decision to bring in D’Antoni was driven by Jackson’s need for more money, more power and more input into how the organization was run. Now we will see if avoiding those headaches from Phil Jackson will be worth it for the Lakers.
Bears Offense on Trial Against San Francisco
For the second week in a row, the Chicago Bears will be a part of one of the most significant games on the NFL betting line. This time, in Week 11, they’ll hit the road against the San Francisco 49ers in a Monday Night Football matchup. Get odds for the clash of defensive juggernauts today.
Just last week the Bears took the national spotlight in the primetime Sunday night game against the Houston Texans, and they came up short. The loss not only stunted their lead in the NFC North division, but called into question their ability to contend against top teams down the stretch.
According to Bovada’s football oddsmakers, the Bears have just 10/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl despite at times looking like the most dominant team the league has to offer. Although a Week 11 win over Jim Harbaugh’s 49ers wouldn’t guarantee anything, it could help fans and critics alike start to get behind Jay Cutler and the rest of Chicago’s uninspiring offense.
For San Francisco, more than simple momentum is on the line. With some of the best NFL odds in the league, the 49ers could use the opportunity to put distance between themselves and the rest of the NFC West Division.
Only one can get what they want.

Rookie Davis Makes Hornets Intriguing Bet Option
New Orleans Hornets big man Anthony Davis will make his first professional appearance at the fabled Madison Square Garden this week, suiting up Tuesday against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks. The first overall pick has thrived early in his debut campaign, but it might take more than a Rookie of the Year performance to help this franchise to cash in on their NBA odds.
Lined up against the Knicks, Davis will get every opportunity to prove to the rest of the league that he was worthy of the top selection in the 2012 NBA Draft. Fresh out of Kentucky the former Wildcat has already demonstrated an ability to provide an invaluable defensive presence in the big league.
Although Davis has just a small sample size of success (he missed games two and three of the season with a concussion), it’s never too early to start thinking about how his addition may impact the basketball betting scene. Currently the Hornets have just 250/1 odds of winning the NBA championship.
New Orleans may not be contending for a title any time soon – especially without guard Eric Gordon, still recovering from a mysterious knee injury – but that doesn’t mean they’re not still interesting bet options when it comes to individual game lines.
Against opponents like the Knicks, it’s not at all unreasonable to expect the No. 1 pick in the draft to go to work and get things done.

NBA Odds Favor Heat as Eastern Conference Rivalry Continues
Although the Cavaliers and Wizards will technically beat them by an hour, the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics will help tip off the 2012-13 campaign in style Tuesday night. The rivalry between the two Eastern Conference giants is no secret, but the days where the two are equal on the NBA moneyline may have come and gone.
While the Heat lead the NBA futures with 9/4 odds of winning the championship this season, the Celtics trail behind at 14/1. Considering that Miami’s LeBron James is looking as comfortable as ever after winning his first ring, and that the once-proud Celtics core is yet one year older, the discrepancy is no surprise.
If Boston is to cover the spread against the league juggernaut, they’ll need solid contributions from not only superstar point guard Rajon Rondo, but veterans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. New this season, don’t forget, is former Mavericks guard Jason Terry.
Beyond the box score, however, is a storyline that may be more relevant to fans than to bettors. The game marks Heat shooting guard Ray Allen’s first against his former team.
With emotions running high, and opening day excitement to boot, the matchup may be one of the most intriguing of the week. Get in on the fun today.

New York Giants Vs Dallas Cowboys Sunday 28th Oct
Anyone that was betting on the Giants to win its opening game of the season at home against the Dallas Cowboys can feel better in knowing that they were not alone. While New York’s opening loss frustrated Giants’ fans, it should not have surprised them. The Giants continue to be the most unpredictable team in the NFL and one of the harder teams to bet on. But the Giants have been on a roll lately, and it is a much different New York team that rolls into Dallas to take on the struggling Cowboys.
Even when the Dallas Cowboys win this season, it looks like a struggle. The football betting experts are hard pressed to find any moment during the Cowboys’ three wins where the team looked to be in control of the game. The only game you could really point to would be the opening game against the Giants. Since that opening win, the Cowboys have struggled to a 3-3 record that indicates exactly where the Cowboys stand. Dallas is too good to just fade away, but it is also not good enough to break out. No matter what Jerry Jones says, this Dallas team is not a championship team.
New York Giants
Eli Manning is the master of the fourth quarter and he has thrown more fourth quarter touchdown passes that any quarterback in recent history. The legal online sports betting sites know that Eli’s ability to shine in the fourth quarter will be the big thing that undoes the Cowboys this week. The Dallas Cowboys have not been able to finish a game since week one, and Eli has had a string of success since that week which leads people to believe that the Cowboys could be in trouble in this game.
Dallas Cowboys
The betting sites don’t seem to have a lot of faith in Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo. Romo has proven to be a good leader, but he has not proven himself to be a winner. The Dallas defense is not helping Romo’s cause by allowing big plays late in games. The habit of opening up the field to the opposing offense will really kill the Cowboys in this game. If Dallas does not find a way to shut down Eli in the fourth quarter, then any lead Romo has built could disappear quickly.
The Pick
With the Dallas Cowboys, there is no such thing as home field advantage. The Cowboys are .500 at home and .500 on the road. The Giants are 2-1 on the road and would love the chance to avenge that week one loss with a blowout win in this game. The Giants will not get the blowout it is looking for, but it will get the win.

The Colts Get A Kick Out of the Titans
Online sports book experts are starting to think that Indianapolis Colts’ owner Jim Irsay may actually know what he is doing. The eccentric owner took a lot of heat when he gutted his team in the offseason and sent popular veterans such as Peyton Manning, Jeff Saturday and Dallas Clark packing. He took even more heat when he brought in mostly rookies to replace those veteran players. Colts’ fans prepared themselves for a long and frustrating season that would seem like it will never end. Instead, the Colts drafted wisely and rookie quarterback Andrew Luck is that the helm of a 3-3 team that could be challenging for a playoff spot. For now, that Irsay guy is a genius.
The Tennessee Titans are having a hard time convincing itself that Jake Locker really is the quarterback of the future. The online football betting crowd has noticed that the Titans do a lot more winning with veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck under center than when Locker is on the field. That is probably why Hasselbeck will be starting this game against the Colts, even though Locker is healthy and able to play. The Titans were able to bust out in Buffalo, but that was against a Bills team that is struggling. The Colts are getting better every week and pose a significant challenge to the Titans.
Indianapolis Colts
Even the best online betting sites are surprised at how well Andrew Luck has adapted to the NFL. Luck and his rookie receivers have been listening intently to veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne and the entire offense is starting to benefit. Now that the Colts have a young offense that it feels it can win with, it is time to work on getting a new defense in place. But for now, the defense the Colts have should be more than enough to handle the Titans.
Tennessee Titans
For the first time in a long time, the sports betting sites got to see Titans’ running back Chris Johnson run over the opposition on the road. Johnson racked up almost 200 rushing yards in Buffalo as he helped the Titans to squeak out a win. As bad as the Indianapolis defense can look at times, it is still able to handle the run better than the Buffalo defense. The Titans will have to rely on Hasselbeck to win this game, and that is not such a bad thing.
The Pick
The Indianapolis Colts are in the unique situation of having a group of rookie players that have adapted well to the NFL and are already on their way to establishing an offensive identity. The Titans still seem lost and clueless on what kind of identity it wants to have, and that kind of ambiguity will not fly against a Colts team that is on the rise.
