Online Pai Gow Poker

Pai gow poker online for free.

Online Pai Gow Poker is played the same way as in the traditional casino setting. Of course, the big difference lies on the high-tech nature of online Pai Gow Poker where you can gain access to the game by logging on and visiting online gaming sites. The main objective of online Pai Gow Poker is basically to have your hands (the high and the low) rank superior over the banker's hands.

The rules, concepts, and strategies governing online Pai Gow Poker are generally easy to understand. The game uses a 53-card deck (the standard 52 cards and a joker). Players are dealt seven cards which they can split to form two distinct hands: the first one is called the highest hand with five cards and the second one is called the second highest with two cards. The five-card hand should always be higher than the two-card hand.

In playing online Pai Gow Poker, you will be using your mouse chiefly. You will be asked to click buttons that correspond to certain tasks that form parts of the game. Examples of instructions are: clicking on the chip value that you want to bet on; placing it on a specific betting area; regretting a wagered chip prior to the game's commencement; clicking the DEAL button to start the game, etc.

When the cards have been dealt, you will be asked to select a hand, regret the card selection, and divide the hands in accordance with the HOUSE-WAY that uses the casino's set of rules. You may also be asked to repeat previous rounds of bet. Usually, the minimum bet is one dollar and the maximum bet is $100.

By beating both the dealer's hands, you win the game and receive an even pay with a five percent cut as a commission. You lose the game when the opposite happens. You retain your wager only when one of your hands manage to beat the banker's hands (the result being a "tie"). In case you mistakenly arranged your hands (the second hand is higher than the first), you will commit a "foul" that automatically brings the game in favor of the dealer. When your two hands are parallel in rank to the dealer's, it is called a copy hand. In this special instance, the dealer wins the game.

Furthermore, these are the hands (which are hierarchically ranked from top to bottom) used in an online Pai Gow poker game:

1. Five Aces
2. Royal Flush
3. Straight Flush
4. Four of a Kind
5. Full House
6. Flush
7. Straight
8. Three of a Kind
9. Two Pair
10. Pair
11. High Card

Should you had the urge to take the place of the banker, you may do so. Being a player-slash-banker gives you the privilege of being the house or the banker in selected occasions. This entitles you to win copy hands, pretty much the same way as the real banker does. When you act as the banker, you are required to put a wager that is opposite the dealer.

At any given time, this wager is equal to your previous one or to the minimum bet that is set on the table. You should also be able to match or to cover the bets of the other players. During the opening deal, you will be faced against the dealer, your hands being compared to his. Then, your cards will be pitted opposite all the other players. The house takes a five percent cut from your purse as a commission.
