Nfl Rankings

It's the NFL season again and football enthusiasts are excited about the upcoming NFL games. Who will take the Super Bowl title home this year? Below are the power rankings of some NFL teams. You have to keep in mind, though, that these rankings are bound to change as the season goes by and the teams score wins and losses along the way.

1. New England Patriots

Although many people are not impressed with the defense structure of the Patriots, this team still tops the list because they play well and they've got one of the best quarterbacks of all time. With this team having the easiest schedule among all NFL teams, it would be of no surprise at all if the Patriots make their way straight to the Super Bowl this season.

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are most likely going to rise this season with Peyton Manning leading the team to victory. Even though there are many concerns about the health of wide receiver Marvin Harrison and defensive end Dwight Freeney, the team can still make its way to victory without them because the Colts won a lot of games in 2007 without these two.

3. San Diego Chargers

This team sure has a shot at getting to the Super Bowl. They played fiercely last January and all they have to do now is to play that kind of game again. They have a comfortable schedule and their division is weak, so they've got more chances of getting to the top.

4. Dallas Cowboys

With skilled players and the drive to win, the Dallas Cowboys are surely out to battle for the win this season. Now that exceptional linebacker Zach Thomas has been added to the team, the Cowboys have even more chances to win the playoffs.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are doing great with players like Marcus Stroud, Ernest Wilford, and Chris Naeole on their team. These three were key players during the rise of the Jaguars' records. Let's see if they manage to make it to the Super Bowl this season.

6. New York Giants

Due to the loss of four key players on the defense team of the Giants, it might be hard for them to get back on track and defeat the other teams. Even so, the Giants still stand a chance just as long as they put in more effort as a team and work well together.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers

The offensive and defensive players of the Steelers are still looking good, although guys like James Farrior, Aaron Smith, and Casey Hampton seem to be performing with less vigor than they did before. Steelers fans, just hope that Ben Roethlisberger can lead his team all the way to the playoffs and Super Bowl.

8. Green Bay Packers

This is another team with an impressive record and skillful players. But without Brett Favre on the team, are the Packers ready for another grueling season? Will they make it to the playoffs? Perhaps Aaron Rodgers can prove to us that he can lead his team to more wins and titles.
